About the Experts:

  • Business Model + Pricing Strategy: Cee Smith understands both sides of the founder / funder dichotomy as an investor and serial entrepreneur. She is the CEO of Femme Fatale DC, a DC shop that provides retail space for womxn entrepreneurs to display and sell their products. She also founded Cee Smith Media Group in 2015, a creative investment firm that prioritizes QPOC & LGBT Entrepreneurs and provides support on capital, connections and coaching. She serves on the Board of Citrine Angels and is a member of Pipeline Angels.
  • Customer Discovery + Market Research: Barb White is a recognized strategist, entrepreneur, consultant, and operator whose experience ranges from Fortune 500 companies to U.S. Federal Agencies to start-ups. For 30 years, she has dedicated her work to helping companies, leaders, and their teams translate theoretical and strategic ideas into actionable, integrated, and effective solutions to achieve their goals and move their missions forward. As the Founder and CEO of The Avoka Group, she focuses her resources on supporting women and under-resourced founders. She serves on the Board of Citrine Angels and is an advisor for The 2nd Bloom Angel Network, focused on funding experienced entrepreneurs launching businesses later in their career.
  • Technology Development: Marcy Ewald is COO and co-founder at ThinkNimble, and a former executive at an exited startup, Aspire. Marcy now works with founders to create successful businesses built with great technology, regardless of founders' technical background. She created the product processes and coaching strategies ThinkNimble uses to turn clients into confident tech leaders who understand their customers.
